BLV Licht- und Vakuumtechnik was founded in Steinhoering, Bavaria, in 1968. As a manufacturer of high quality lamps for both general lighting and niche markets, the company quickly made a name for itself. Nowadays the company enjoys a worldwide reputation as a manufacturer of lighting solutions for special applications.
